<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">Before making the five day trip by car, James spent the past three years in Alexandria, VA with his wife Joanne</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">while earning his degree at the Virginia Theological Seminary.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">Having been ordained in the Washington National Cathedral on June 4<span style="font: 16.0px Calibri;"><sup>th</sup></span>, James comes to St. Margaret&#8217;s</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">To serve as chaplain, with his first teaching assignments in New Testament, Philosophy, and Ethics,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">and to coach flag football for middle school.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">He and his wife Joanne will celebrate their 5<span style="font: 16.0px Calibri;"><sup>th</sup></span> anniversary this Christmas,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">and are extremely excited to expect their first baby this October.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">Joanne is with her family in South Carolina, staying rested, saying goodbye to close family and friends,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">and will arrive the beginning of September after James has gotten the house ready for her arrival.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">James and Joanne met while studying acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Orlando, FL,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">close to James&#8217; hometown of Merritt Island, and each held private practices until James felt the call to the priesthood in 2007.  If you want to know any more of the interesting tidbits that make up our new Fr. James,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">he loves to talk with people on any number of things; his sister teaching in Thailand, his brother working at the Pentagon,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">his mother a retired nurse, or his father who passed away in &#8216;04 but was a bonafide rocket scientist.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">James has studied martial arts from the age of eight, gaining two black belts,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">and opening a school for aikido which he has practiced for 15 years.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">A lover of good sci-fi and fantasy movies, a video gamer at heart,</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center; font: 19.0px Calibri;">and above all an unwavering devotion to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, we are happy to welcome Fr. James Livingston.</p>
